After traveling south down the coast of Australia, I flew into Phuket, Thailand and spent 4 days total exploring Krabi, Maya Beach, and the Phi Phi Islands. The morning of my last day in Thailand I was involved in a motorbike crash and was taken to the hospital by a family I had met near the southern Phromthep Cape. After spending several hours in the E.R. I was then discharged only to find out that my banks had frozen my cards, leaving me with an unpaid hospital bill, 3 hours to catch a flight to Hong Kong, and a split-second decision to run.
